All the good times when your children were growing up……helping with home work at the kitchen table, the Christmases, the camping holidays, the ski trips, the dinner parties, the decorating of houses and choosing of furniture, the shared laughter , the middle of the night comfort of another body beside you when you can’t sleep, the health scares, the being there for one another when the family goldfish dies, when the dog dies, when a parent dies, all of that life together as a team……………….when you look at everything you’ve had, everything you’ve shared….. isn’t it too much to expect complete monogamy as well?
